What is a good rod and reel i can buy to use for both freshwater trout fishing and some pier saltwater fishing?
I want to buy a good rod and reel to use for my next trip to Laughlin for trout fishing on the Colorado and use at the beach for pier fishing. Maybe an Abu Garcia rod and reel.
Between these rods which would you recommend for all around fishing?
well first before i start im sure you all know how I use a ugly stick for everything but im looking for something lightweight. Im basically going to use it for bass fishing and by bass fishing i mean fishing with lures for everything lol. It needs to last long my ugly stick lasted 4 years until it got worn down. Will a Penn Senator or a Penn pursuit hold up against Cobia, king fish and Mahi-Mahi while deep sea fishing?
I own a Penn pursuit and a Penn senator but I am not so confident in their strenth. Will they hold up against big ocean fish while deep sea fishing.

I wanna take vids of the entire time I fish, so that way if I have a good day I can post it on here. And I can easily measure and weigh any fish in the vid. It would also be disproved as fake sine It would be recorded when the strike happens and when I'm casting well everything basically Hah ha, maybe even when my dad is falling asleep on the chair. Fishing powder how did it work for you?
Okay I have this homemade recipe for a fishing bait powder just add water or preferred liquid ex. Milk , beer, blood I was wondering whether or not it's a good mix or not. It works great for me and has multiple uses.1. Cup powdered chicken livers Buy a couple tubs of the pilgrims brand at your local grocery store. 1. Dump blood and all into a large durable bowl or pan.2. Set in a hot sunny location and let it thoroughly dry.3. Take a rubber mallet or a hammer put in a blender if necessary and smash to a fine powder or to your likes. 1. Cup of canned cat food powdered buy a few cans of the cheap cat food. And repeat the above instructions 2 boxes of powdered jello mix already powdered in package 1 2. Cup of powdered bread any stale sandwich bread should do when powdered if nothing else use flour A few table spoons of powdered parmasion cheese powdered in container so that's easy enough A couple table spoons of saltMix all of the powdered ingrediants thoroughly and put into a jar or small bucket with a lid on it. Through it the bed of the truck and gO to your favorite fishing spot. Now do what you want with it here are some handy uses for my product.1. Through a handfull dry onto the water as chum for small bait fish which attract larger fish and so on.2. Add small amount of liquid to produce a dough like substanince and bait your hook with it.3. Add a lot of liquid to produce a thinner pudding like substanince and use a chum.4. Have fun with it. A bad day fishing beats the best day working .Please try this out and leave answers telling me how it worked , what you caught, and any improvements.
